Design and Research of Automatic Garment-Pattern-Generation System Based on Parameterized Design

Personalization in the apparel industry shows importance and potential for demand, but existing personalization has unreasonable time cost, labor resource waste. To solve problems of waste resources as well both cost caused by manual pattern making clothing personalization, a method automatic garment generation based on parametric formula Python language was proposed. Based classification common curves patterns, three curve fitting algorithms different parameters were derived combined with to achieve personalized patterns classifying system into key parameters, secondary variable parameters.
